The food was mostly very good. The presentation was nice and the flavours were also nicely balanced with a nice variety. But unfortunately the yellow pastry didn’t taste of anything. The ambience was nice, but unfortunately we found that the service
Mehr was quite slow and inattentive. We were seated and then waited for then 10 minutes until somebody come with the menu. One service member explained us how it works and gave us a couple of options and said she would come back in a shortly (which afternoon tea we would like and how many). Afterwards unfortunately the member of staff didn’t come back and somebody else came and ask what we would like to drink. The experience was in total nice but for such a hotel member of lhw, unfortunately the standards weren’t met. Weniger

Detail: Wir hatten bei unserer ersten Emailanfrage nach einem Afternoon tea für 2 Erwachsene und 1 Kind angefragt, bekamen dann aber 3 Erwachsenenportionen, welche wir nicht mehr beanstandet haben. Sonst war alles wunderbar.

A big bravo to the excellent waitress who took care of us! She was perfect, you could see she loves her job and making clients happy. She is Italian with long blond hair.
The afternoon tea was delicious. We loved the scones that were lighter than
Mehr the one you usually have. The Newby brand offers very high quality teas and this is the reason why we chose the afternoon tea at the Carlton. Thanks so much for this wonderful experience that celebrated the last day of our holidays in Samedan! Weniger
